Guadalajara, Mexico, Oct 28 (EFE-EPA).- Argentina's Sebastian Vegas headed the goal that gave Monarcas Morelia a 2-1 win over Chivas Guadalajara this weekend.

Morelia's win on Saturday got the team in the qualifying zone for the playoffs.

Chivas got off to a good start on Saturday, with Jose Saturnino Cardozo netting the first goal in the fifth minute, but their advantage ended with an own goal by Fernando Beltran in the 50th and Vegas's in the 68th.

Morelia - who has reached three championships in a row qualifying for the group stage - climbed to seventh place in the standings with six wins, four draws, four defeats and 22 points, while Guadalajara dropped to 12th with 16 points, losing their chance to contend among the top eight.
