Javier Bardem in talks to co-star in Jennifer Lawrence film

Los Angeles, Jan 11 (EFE).- Spanish actor Javier Bardem is currently in talks to co-star with Hollywood's most sought-after actress of the moment, Jennifer Lawrence, in director Darren Aronofsky's next production, Variety's online edition reported Monday.

The movie, whose title is still unknown, will be distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Aronofsky will direct, write and produce the film through Protozoa Pictures together with Scott Franklin and Ari Handel.

Both filmmaker and studio aim to kick off the shoot this spring and premiere it in movie theaters sometime in 2017.

The story is all about a happy couple whose relationship gets the test of their lives when some unexpected guests show up at their home and turn their world upside down.

Aronofsky, an Oscar nominee for the 2010 flick "Black Swan," considered several ideas for his next production, including a biopic about daredevil Evel Knievel.

But the chance to work with Lawrence made the director decide to go ahead with this project, Variety says.

The publication says that Oscar-winner Bardem is one of the few names Aronofsky has considered for the male role, another being Britain's Idris Elba.
